*Clean, gently used seasonal clothing for men, women, children, and babies, placed in shopping bags with handles or on hangers.
*Boots, socks, and shoes, outerwear, hats and mittens
*Twin and double mattresses and box springs, cribs, small dressers, small kitchen tables and chairs.
*Childrens books in good condition in both English and Spanish, and new or gently used stuffed animals.
*Household items including new or gently used linens, sheets and towels.
*Car seats in new or gently used condition that are less than 5 years old.

The Community Closet appreciates donations of gently used or new infant children and young adult clothing as well as large-sized clothing for both men and women, all household items including bedding, towels and kitchen items. Children's diapers, toys, books and equipment, such as high chairs, cribs and infant seats, etc. are always in high demand.
The Community Closet is conveniently located at the corners of Clinton and Fairfield Avenues in Bridgeport. The builiding is easily accessible and volunteers will gladly accept your much appreciated, tax deductible donations.
