Parking
Parking is located in a designated area within the gates at Compo Beach or the adjacent Soundview dirt parking lot. No beach sticker needed; parking is free.
The WYWL will host its 42nd Minute Man Race beginning on Sunday, April 25th.
This year’s race is VIRTUAL which means you can run the race anytime between April 25th and May 2nd from anywhere! Race proceeds will directly benefit charities located throughout lower Fairfield County, CT.
The event consists of a 10K run and 5K run or walk. We offer discounts for essential workers, students and more!
NEW! Feeling ambitious? Sign up for our first-ever Minute Man Challenge! Record the fastest combined time for completion of our 5K and 10K runs for a special prize!
Participants will be able to easily track their times and view the suggested race course via the Active Experience app. Top 3 finishers in each event will receive a prize.
Can’t run on April 25th? Don’t fret! Participants can run their registered event on any day that’s best from April 25th through May 2nd to have their results verified through the Active app.
Each registrant will also receive a Minute Man Race t-shirt* and a digital runner’s packet with goodies from our sponsors!

Pre-Registration:
Due to our continued concerns for the safety of our runners and members, there will be no in person pre-registration for the 2021 race.
Upon registration, participants will receive their digital runner’s packet with their bib number.
