What We Do

Since its founding in 1956, the Westport Young Woman’s League (WYWL) has made a significant impact on both its community and its members. Membership is open to women over the age of 21 in Fairfield County, offering numerous opportunities for involvement. Members take an active role in organizing and managing the League’s major fundraisers, including the Minute Man Race and CraftWestport.

In addition to fundraising, members engage in meaningful community service, such as volunteering at the Community Kitchen, while also enjoying social events like wine tastings and book clubs. WYWL proudly supports local non-profits by awarding grants to organizations in lower Fairfield County. Since its inception, WYWL has donated over $4.5 million to local charities.
