The Woman’s League of Westport is a dynamic group of women dedicated to fostering community engagement and charitable giving. Founded in 1956, WLW is a non-profit organization committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need through service projects, fundraising events, and volunteerism. Our mission is to promote education, social services, and culture by providing grants to local non-profits and supporting initiatives that strengthen the Westport area.
Each year, WLW hosts the hallmark events the Minute Man Race and CraftWestport, which collectively raise thousands of dollars for our Grants Program. These efforts directly support non-profit organizations focused on critical issues such as healthcare, education, and social services in Fairfield County.
With a proud legacy of almost 70 years, the Woman’s League of Westport remains one of Fairfield County’s most active women’s organizations. Our members are passionate about giving back, building community relationships, and creating lasting positive change. Through our commitment to service, friendship, and community, the WLW strives to improve the quality of life for residents while offering leadership and personal growth opportunities for its members.
