Due to COVID-19, the Westport Young Woman’s League (WYWL) has suspended all in-person General Membership Meetings until further notice. Throughout this public health emergency, our #1 priority has been to support the health and safety of our Membership, loved ones, and extended community.
With evolving conditions in Connecticut and beyond, the WYWL will continue to operate fully but with adjustments that follow State and Federal guidelines. As normal, beginning August 1st, we will be accepting new members! Our Grant Application will be available online from August 1st- October 31st.
While we are all eager to enter a post-COVID phase, we want to reiterate our commitment to putting safety first and our sincere gratitude for your perseverance and collaboration. WYWL is committed to building community through volunteerism, networking, and fundraising and we thank you for your support!
We are looking forward to safely resuming in-person events and meetings in the near future. We hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe!
The Westport Young Woman’s League recognizes the heartrending and destructive impact of racial injustices on communities across America. For 64 years, the WYWL has worked towards building community and leaders. We stand with Westport against exclusion, injustices, and prejudices of all forms.
We strive to ensure that the WYWL is an ethical place where the diverse women of Fairfield County can serve in building community, and we will continue to be driven by our values of Accountability and Transformation. We promote diversity, inclusion, and equality within our sisterhood and our neighborhoods.
Building Community begins from within with PACT: Passion, Accountiliby, Collaboration, Transformation.
