Grants
Each year fundraisers, like CraftWestport and the Minute Man Race, allow the WYWL to distribute grants. Since its inception in 1956 the WYWL, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has donated over $4.3 million. Over half of that amount has been distributed in the past decade!
Historically, the WYWL has focused our giving to support goals of: No Hunger, Quality Education, and Good Health & Well-Being. Being a Westport, CT based nonprofit group, we prioritize our giving to nonprofit organizations in Westport and surrounding towns and cities in Fairfield County, CT.

I love the Women’s Circle group at Saint Joseph. This group has been so beneficial for me as a woman, as a mother, and as a friend. During these classes, I can freely express myself about anything going on in my life. To me, that provides such a relief just to ventilate my thoughts.
The partnerships between local non-profit organizations and the Burroughs Center are examples of the positive impact community organizations can make by working together to meet the needs of many.
