Grants
Since its inception in 1956, the Westport Young Woman’s League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has donated over $4.5 million through its community grants program. As a Westport, CT-based organization, we prioritize supporting non-profits in Westport and the surrounding towns and cities of lower Fairfield County, CT.
Our cornerstone fundraisers, CraftWestport and the Minute Man Race, enable us to provide grants to deserving non-profits whose missions align with our focus areas. For the 2024-2025 League year, our grants program will continue to support Quality Education, Good Health and Well-Being, and Underserved Women in the community. In 2023, we redesigned the program to create a larger, more measurable impact by awarding fewer but larger grants. To learn more and apply, download the 2024-2025 grants application, which closes on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 Grant Recipients! During the 2023-2024 League year, the Westport Young Woman’s League proudly awarded $65,000 in grants to nine non-profit organizations in Fairfield County. This marked the inaugural year of our new approach, providing larger grants to a smaller group of recipients.
