Roll Red Roll – Movie Screening

The Westport Young Woman’s League, The Rowan Center & the Westport Library are proud to be screening the documentary, Roll Red Roll. All are welcome to attend this free screening. Appropriate for 16 years and up. A panel discussion will follow the film.

Roll Red Roll is a documentary about the assault of a teenage girl by members of the high school football team in Steubenville, Ohio. It reconstructs the night of the crime and it’s aftermath. This film uncovers the ingrained rape culture at the heart of the incident and shows what can happen when teenage social media bullying runs rampant and adults look the other way.
